Audacious Living: Episode 2 - Pam Rocker
Wednesday Jul 14, 2021
Wednesday Jul 14, 2021
In this episode of Audacious Living Trevor interviews atypical activist Pam Rocker. Pam's story of audacious living comes from living in both Texas and Alberta as a closeted queer woman formerly working for a "mega-church" whose doctrine misaligned with who she is. Pam discusses how she used to turn her passionate and creative personality inward, in a way that actively attempted to destroy parts of herself, as a sort of "self conversion therapy." Pam talks about what it was like to both mentally and physically detach from this mindset while along the way learning to embrace who she is. She turned her passionate and creative personality into a vessel of love as she founded the Coming Out in Faith Monologues, is a past president of Affirm United, co-hosts the Sacred and Profane Podcast, and has many collaborative projects on the go that are aligned with her passions of LGBTQ2S+ equality, faith, love, and laughter.
Listen in as we hear part of her story, listen to her strum a tune on her ukulele, and learn more about how to embrace curiosity, hope, and resiliency in this episode of Audacious Living.

Audacious Living: Episode 1 - Tony Snow
Friday Jun 25, 2021
Friday Jun 25, 2021
We join our host Trevor with Tony Snow for our inaugural episode to honour our process of truth and reconciliation. This was taped before the horrific discovery of the bodies of 215 indigenous children buried at the Kamloops Indian Residential School.
Tony Snow is from the Stoney Nakoda Nation and following in the path of his late father, Dr. & Rev. Chief John Snow, a renowned spiritual and political leader in southern Alberta. His father was the first indigenous person to become an ordained minister in Alberta. The Rev. John Snow spent 30 years as the chief of Stoney Nakoda First Nation and up until his death in 2007, he was still writing about history and penning poetry. Now, Tony is also following in this path. Tony is the Indigenous Minister for the Chinook Winds Region of the United Church of Canada and hoping to build bridges between communities and faith.
Trevor is from McKillop United Church in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada. To find out more about McKillop go to: https://www.facebook.com/mckillopunited
